I Have played this server on and off for a year or so now donated and bought stuff from shop several time... My ign is JesusHatesMe now I haven't been on the server in few months but I got vip again and was ready to play until... chaos without permission changed my name to JesusSavesMe... this has severly pissed me off for multiple reasons mainly me being gay and this religion and members of the religion looking down upon me. I demand my name be put back to normal or if chaos would have came to me with the situation we could of decided on a non religious name every would be happy with he can not force me to have a religious name with a religion that says I'm going to burn in hell this is bs and needs to be taken care of immidiately or I will be blasting this all over forums(including other rival servers), youtube, and server reviews. now don't get me wrong this was my favorite pixelmon sever this was extremely inappropriate for this to happen and for him not to fix the matter after i talked to him

Your name was nicknamed due to the fact that JesusHatesMe would be offensive to quite a bit of people, even if you yourself feel that way. Instead of making an angry post about it, take it up with him in game? Since my senses tell me that you didn't ask him to change it to a non-religious one in game and instead went straight to the forums(although I could be wrong). The nicknames given are usually given so as not to offend anybody but if you feel like you are uncomfortable with the given one take it up with either Chaos or another person who can change your nick to something non-religious.

umm i did tell him to change it to non religion name but i was muted and he got off so yea he should of talked to me before changing it in the first place i gave over $200 to this sever i would expect to be treated with more respect than a staff member to rudely change my name to one that contradicts my original ign and if is so damn offensive why it take a year and a staff member i never met to change the name do you know what its like being gay and having the name jesussavesme its blasphemy considering by Christian beliefs i will burn in hell for eternity so its kinda a hate crime you see, and its like forcing someone of the hindu religion have the name jesuslovesme you think they would be cool with that?

If you were muted when you wished to speak with him, talk with him when you were un-muted, send a mail, or a PM over the forums. A year ago we had a reset, so it's possible that the need for a nickname was lost in the tidal wave of other requirements. I can understand why you would be mad, but if you can ask him to change it in a calm manner that isn't full caps lock and bold then I am sure he would change it for you if he understood that you were not comfortable with it.

i was playing after the reset and i told him!! he got off instead of fixing it so you tell me is it rc gamers as a community that hates gays or just chaos

i may look like I'm in the wrong because I'm mad but if my name was offensive and he was changing it for that reason then why change it to something that's still offensive I made it very veryclear I wanted my name changed it that I was mad instead I was ignored and muted and he got off can you explain any of this cuz I'm at a loss

From what I've seen so far, staff members are allowed to change names w/o consent from the player themselves if the name breaks server rules or offends people. I understand if you're upset about it, and I don't mean to be rude saying this, but having your name changed shouldn't be too bothersome. Again, I don't mean to sound rude and apologize in advance.

Per standards given to me by the staff, we were told to leave your name alone Unless someone complained about it. In the event that an offensive name is deemed worthy to be nicked, you don't have a choice in the matter and your consent is not required. I will not change it again because at least now it might have a positive outlook on the matter. Also, regardless of your intent, your sexual orientation has no bearing or even context to do with your name, so its irrelevant. If you want a choice in the matter I sincerely encourage you to pursue Mojang's services and procure a name that is appropriate. Then and only then will your worries be over. Have a Nice Day.
