Today we have an economy oriented changelog for you all.
We have been working on a few plugins to make the server much more enjoyable for the past couple months, but due to a few setbacks they have taken quite some time to complete. I'm happy to say that one of those is here!
Bazaar is a system that allows players to purchase warp points for their shops. Any player can look in "/bazaar", see all the player bazaars made, and can teleport to anyone's bazaar they want. We are hoping the bazaar system will encourage player to player trading, and stimulate the economy in an interesting way. For full info, type "/bazaar" and read through the info listed, you should find everything you need there!
As well, to accompany the bazaar changes, we've made a massive amount of shop changes, increasing and decreasing buy and sell prices of a variety of items. Our goal is to balance the game to make farming things other than cactus and stone more viable, as well as to stimulate player to player trading.
The changelog we have prepared is fairly large, with the shop changes having extensive details on what exactly was raised and lowered. Along with bazaar, there are a few other nice random changes, listed in the Misc section

We've been actively working on a Safari plugin for quite some time. We ran into a few issues with the last version, so we were forced to backtrack. However, with this we have taken the opportunity to modify the core of the plugin to achieve a goal of making safari worth it. For most, after a few weeks of using safari on our last map, people got disinterested. We have a few awesome ideas to make safari worth it for people, and keep going back. Stay tuned for more info, we hope to have some more news in the next few weeks.
We had a ton of price changes this time around, but we still have a bit more to change. This will be a larger change that will require a bit more work, but it will be a super nice quality of life change. We are planning on making a submenu for most items, inside having the option to buy/sell one, a stack, multiple stacks, and a full inventory. It's been requested for quite some time, and we are finally able to make it happen. We are hoping to get this out with the next changelog.
We are still actively working on implementing the remainder of gyms, and we have a few more near completion. With the new gyms, we will need to change gifts slightly, making them more balanced the more gyms that are added. Plus, we have a few other ideas for changes in rewards that we think you will all like. This should be included in the next changelog, which will hopefully be about a week.
The Matchmaker plugin is going to be pushed to completion from here on. We want to get this out as soon as possible, as we want to foster and see a growing competitve community on RC. We've spoke about it in the past, and the development has been steady since. This might still be a bit far off, but we hope to get it out as soon as possible.
The last thing of note is a few major bug fixes we are still working on. Enchanted furnaces has provided a big problem that has proven more difficult then intended to solve. We hope to get a fix soon, but not quite sure how long it will take. This is being pushed for actively now.
We are also suffering from a few claim issues, including an issue where subdivides are being counted toward basic claim limit, making it near impossible for players to create subdivides. We will be trying a few things to fix this soon, and hopefully have a fix for the next changelog. (speaking of claims, we have noticed more people asking for a claim wipe. Who knows what the future holds?)
One of the final major bugs we are focusing on a fix for is pistons. There is a detrimental bug right now that allows for duping, but recently we have been testing out newer versions of our plugins, a few of which have the issue fixed. At this point it's all about testing and finding what's compatible and doesn't cause problems
We appreciate all the patience, support and appreciation you all have for the server, and are happy to see so many people enjoying themselves and wanting the server to grow. We are actively trying to make things more enjoyable for you, and if there is anything you don't find enjoyable, feel free to let an admin or otherwise know. We are able to be contacted via pm on discord regularly.
We hope you enjoy all the changes!
